Cheap flights from Florence, Italy while Studying Abroad!
Mon, 08/20/2007 - 11:53
Hey,
I was wondering what the best way was to travel this fall if I was going to be in Florence for the fall semester (Sept-Dec). Would I have to take a train into other cities to fly out? What airlines are the best to use? What places are a must hit? Someone help me out plsss. Thanks!!!
Whether train or plane is better depends on how far you’re going and how much time you have. Trains travel is best for destinations within Italy and is pretty cheap. Train will also be good for some relatively close international trips and an overnight train may save you some time in some cases. There aren’t a lot of cheap flight options from Florence’s airport, but the good news is that you can get on the train from Florence and be at the airport in Pisa in a little over an hour. From Pisa you’ll have many options for affordable air travel: http://www.whichbudg…
