Cheapest ferry from Valencia to Ibiza Town
Tue, 03/01/2011 - 02:32
Hello,
I ‘m traveling to across Europe this summer and I was trying to find the cheapest ferries that run from Valencia to Ibiza Town and from Ibiza Town to Barcelona? I was checking a few sites but it seems that there are minimal ferries running in July 2011 or is it just the schedules aren’t up that far in advance?
Appreciate any advice!
Thanks!!!
Donna
I am leaving from LAX with $8000 for 30 days
London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Venice, Mýkonos, Santorini, Athens, London

The sites should be up to date for summer by now. What sites have you checked?
I don’t think you’ll find a lot of difference in pricing among the various ferry companies. The price for a specific ferry is usually the same no matter where you buy the ticket.
On www.directferries.co… its shows me only 3 fridays and June and the calender does not go to July. I was assuming that the schedule was not up for the summer months.

There might be a more complete schedule in May, so you could just wait. Other options would be:
1. Look at a different travel agency website. Google “ferry +ibiza +spain” and you’ll find hundreds.
2. Search on the names of the ferry companies shown on the direct ferry or other travel agency website to check the company’s own websites. Most of them will have their summer schedules posted by now.
You can fly for $33 in June with Vueling: http://www.skyscanne…
IBZ>BCN $40, also Vueling: http://www.skyscanne…
