How do the cigarettes in Europe compare to those in America other than being less expensive?

Don’t smoke myself, but my friends always complained that american cigarettes tasted stale in europe.  They didn’t mention the price too much, so I assume not much more expensive.

When I went over, any smokes that i had in my checked bags, and to a lesser extent the pnes in carry on were dryed out (a damn shame). The cigarettes i got there were generally cheaper but not by much after you work out the currencies. I also enjoyed european cigarettes more.

I was just in Europe a month and a half ago, and the cigarettes there were A LOT, I repeat, A LOT more expensive than here in the states. It will of course depend on where you are going but I paid 5 pounds 20 pence (about 10) for just about any pack of cigarettes they had. I tried several different brands and they were all about the same price; whether they were US cigarettes or those native to Europe. The cheapest place I bought some was Barcelona where I think I paid like 2.50 euros for a pack. EVERYWHERE else was more like 5-7 euros per pack. I smoked Marlboro lights nearly the whole time and I thought they were fine. I also LOVE Dunhill cigarettes which I believe hail from England. Those were great too.

Mister love the beach yes thank you for kudos (very kind)

You see I offer FREE CIGARETTES (carton) as well as MEAT and LOCAL FIREWATER and SPEAR (for IBRAHIM) on A D R I A T I C  C R O S S I N G  that is part of guest experience at CANVAS HOSTEL in Tirane

But there is problem (yes)

IBRAHIM has been taken captive by COMMITTEE FOR VIRTUE AND VICE
VESSEL IMPOUNDED
LOCAL FIREWATER SEIZED

I assure you though we are working through CADEAUX CHANNELS to ensure return to service soon. We have contact AHMED in BAJRAM KURRI prefecture with SMALL MILITIA who may stage OPEARATION to FREE IBRAHIM in coming days. If this is case – BACK TO SERVICE SOON

But on back topic we can offer these free cigareettes this is NOT PROBLEM maybe just now you come to hostel directly, yes?

ALBANIA (BLACK EAGLE) is good, you come!

i pay between $9.50 and $11.50/pack in canada.  it’s almost to the point where i might as well smoke my cloves all the time.
i was hoping though, that i could find cheaper ones in europe.

They were cheap in Prague, think it amounted to about $2, at most $3 USD

Europe and England aren’t synonymous…in fact, England is perhaps the most expensive country for a traveler to visit.

Anyways, I’m in Belgium and the average price I see is around 3-4 Euro. Much better than Canada, where a pack of Marlboro will cost you 10 bucks.

I’m not a smoker, but a lot of my friends are. Prices differ a lot, but in most western european countries (not the UK) a pack costs about 3,50 to 4,00 euro for Marlboro and alike. There are ofcourse cheaper ‘no-name’ ones which come for about 2,50. In eastern europe cigarettes are much cheaper, e.g. in Ukraine you can get a pack for only 20 cents…

I am traveling for 4 days
