climbing the alps
Sun, 01/21/2007 - 17:53
hey im planning a trip in the summer, and i was wondering the best place in switzerland to climb the alps.
i really want to visit Interlaken is it possible to do it there?

I’ve not been to Europe (I’m going in March) but when I’m in Switzerland I’ll be going to Interlaken for like a day & then to another TINY town called Gimmelwald that is also right on the foot of the Alps. I’d recommend one of those.
There are tonnes of hiking trails in Interlaken and surrounding areas. Some of the best are in Lauterbrunnen and Gimmelwald. I was there in ’05, and did some and it was great. Can’t wait to go back!
thanks guys, lots of help
