Coastal road trip around Spain/Portugal
Sun, 06/22/2008 - 21:53
Hey Everyone
2 buddies and I have planned about a 6 month adventure through western Europe starting on the 4th of July In Pamplona, Spain (Running of the bulls). We are still in debate as to how we want to get around from place to place and originally were thinking about getting a car but are now having second thought. That being said i am still hoping of maybe picking up a car on a French buy back lease in Barcelona and drive around the whole coast of Spain and Portugal seeing the big and small sites pretty much till we get to San Sebastian. From there we could then drive it into France for the drop off to avoid the drop off cost.
My question is this a feasible plan in terms of Parking (yes i know its expensive in bigger areas, but could you do it cheaply/nothing in smaller areas) Getting Around and drop off. We really want to make the most of Spain and Portugal in the summer and this seems like the best way of doing that.
Cheers
Thanks eddie. I actually thought it began the morning of the 6th thanks for clearing that up for me.
