No, I am not just another spammer, jeesh. I just had an awesome trip and met amazing people that I constantly talk to. The traveling led to this amazing internship that I got with a writing company.

I don’t see whats wrong with sharing that.

Ive gone on a Contiki trip, I wouldnt say it changed my life but it was a really good trip. Ive been to europe twice and the contiki trip made travelling a lot more convenient so my only worry was to have fun, which I did

About the Contiki "spam" as you call it, yes, there are Contiki interns on college campuses around the country promoting Contiki. We all went on a 2 week trip together through Europe so we can promote the company and hopefully help other people 18-35 find a great way to travel around the world. One important note here, none of us are getting paid to promote Contiki. We were lucky enough to be sent on the trip and have an amazing time and now want to try and share that with others. I promise you no one is lying when they said they had a ton of fun and did things they never thought they would. We promote the company because Contiki really is a great company that delivers an awesome product. We’ve all just begun the school year and that is why we haven’t posted a ton yet. But we will become more frequent posters and try to help people learn more about travel. All of our blogs and pictures are real and reflect what we thought about our trip. http://kathryn-conti… . If you are thinking about traveling, I hope you consider Contiki and don’t listen to all the negativity about the company from people who don’t know anything about it. We wouldn’t be promoting so heavily if we didn’t believe in these vacations.

I can respect that someone can have an awesome time with Contiki Tours even though that wouldn’t be the kind of trip I would opt for. I think the reason people reacted to the original post has more to do with the way Monica1236 described it. It sounded a little too dramatic to be realistic. Saying that it changed her life is pretty extreme you have to admit!
However, if Monica is dead serious and it did in fact do that for her, then that’s fantastic. There are stacks of other people out there who enjoy Contiki, but as long as we agree it’s not for everyone, then I’m sure the majority of people out there will be satisfied!
