Copenhague at night
Sat, 03/12/2005 - 19:18
What is there to do in Copenhague at night. Is there any typical place or things the locals do at night that is different than in other cities. How are the pubs and is there any clubs you can suggest me. Any info about nightlife in Copenhague would be cool

Hey…
We only go to clubs in weekends unlike cities such as Prague etc. In copenhagen people are very fashionistic. So you’ll see many of these people in clubs…
Good clubs:
"KAT" near Kongens Nytorv. If you like to dress to impress. music: electronic, house.
"Vega" in Vesterbro. Cool place for people that like to be themselves and the DJ’s are very good. music: House, funk, hiphop.
"Rust" in Guldbergsgade, Sankt Hans Torv, Noerrebro is a club for people that like to chill. This place also with good music. House, RnB mixes.
good bars:
"Oakroom" Sankt Hans Torv, Noerrebro
"Lemonbar" Crowdy place! near Kongens Nytorv.
Hope you can use it!
Willi
Thanks!
That’s what I was looking for, but I planned to go there during the week (not the week-end), so from what I understand, I shouldn’t go in clubs. So, does the bars worth it during the week? (I know a bar in a new city always worth it, but just to be sure). Any other suggestions for what to do or visit while I’ll be there (in the day too)
No thats not what I meant. nights in clubs in copenhagen can be a very good experience. its just if you hate gucci girls(snobs) you’ll get a very negative surprise.
In the daytime you can go to "Strøget" which is the the place for shopping, but I must tell you that cool outfits in Denmark can be very expensive.
You can go to "Christiania", a former militarybase, but now its a place for people that sell hashis. but there’s nothing much now, because the police have made an operation in there.
I hate to admit, but there’s really nothing much about copenhagen in the summer.
I meant in the winther…
Ok, thanks a lot, and i’m sure i’ll find something that makes me crazy about this city. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. Otherwise, I’ll take a few beers and I’ll be able to enjoy it at maximum. By the way, do you know other places to visit in Denmark (I don’t know a lot about this country, that’s why I¯m interest in going there)? Also, have you ever cross in Sweden with the train from Copenhague?
Thanks again for all the info.
Hey again.
ehm… other places to visit???
Yeah, if you know the author H.C. Andersen, then you can take the train to city: Odense (in the island Fyn to the left of Sjælland) and see the museum and shit… I’ve heard that they have a great nightlife too…
One of denmarks most known street with bars and shit is Jomfru Ane Gade in Århus, which is in the middle of Jutland. It’ll cost you about 400 Kroners one-way with railway.
well, there’s nothing much left I know what you want to see, but why don’t you go to the reception in the hotel and ask for a brochure of tourist attractions… It’s kindda sad that you visit Denmark in the winther, because Denmark is a beautiful place to be in the summer. that’s also the time we party the most…
Well… good time!!
