Thinking of going to Croatia for a couple of weeks in July. So, a few questions..:

1.) Is July a good time to go, or will it be too full of tourists?(I know, where won’t be?..)

2.) Where’s good/not good to go in Croatia? I want a good mix..

3.) How far is it from Budapest? I live in Germany and could either fly or travel otherwise and break it up in Budapest.

4.) Is it safe?

5.) Is it cheap? Prague is cheap. (I’d say Prague is generally a third the price of Germany,and Budapest 2/3, insofar as you can compare..) Beer, hostel/pension, restaurant, misc. travel prices, etc..

Any comments appreciated. I saw the pictures too. Looks very nice..
