Has anyone been on a Moselle River cruise? If so, what was it like? I am thinking of catching a boat in Koblenz and going down Cochem. Is there a web-site that tells you cruise schedules/timetables, something akin to the Deutschesbahn train schedule site?
I’ve searched under "KD Lines" – I know they operate on the Rhine – but haven’t been successful.
Also, is it cheaper to buy local train passes than to fork out for a German railpass? I will also be going to Nurnberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Regensburg, Bamberg, Heidelberg and Frankfurt. As the distances involved are not big, maybe buying point to point tickets be cheaper.
Any advice would be appreciated.
