I’ll be in Florence for 2 nights in May (26-27) and I’ve narrowed my choices down to 3 hostels: David Hostel near the Duomo, Sogiorno Pitti on Piazza de’Pitti, or Ostello Santa Monaca on via Santa Monaca. Well, I had considered the Hostel Archi Rossi also.

The thing is, I plan to attend The Barber of Seville at St. Mark’s Anglican church on the 27th, which starts, I think at 9:30 pm. Both Sogiorno Pitti and Santa Monaca are near St. Mark’s, so I’m thinking those would be best, since I’m not sure about bus service late at night in Florence.

I would love any help in deciding. I’ve read lots of reviews to narrow it down to these. Does anyone know how late busses run in Florence? If they run pretty late, maybe I could put Archi Rossi back in the running. Help!

Thanks!
