First off, how old are you? This would be some useful info to know.

It’s been awhile since it’s been referred to as that. It’s Czech Republic and Slovakia now.

yeah I know that. The thing is I didn’t know how yo write it in english and I thought it would be easier for everyone to understand it in that way. (we are going to Czech Republic)

Anyway..we are 18 and in Argentina we can drink, drive, vote, etc. But in some countries like USA the age for drinking is 21 so we were wondering how it was in the countries I said before.. thx..

No prob. Yeah, I know what you mean. The US drinking age is rediculous. In Canada it is 18 in some parts and 19 in others, but 21 is crazy. It’s stupid to have to wait that long.

Anyway, that helps to know your age. Being 18, you should be fine buying liquor and getting into bars etc., EVERYWHERE. The only time I could see you running into any problems is if you happen to look like you are 12. Otherwise, you’ll be fine.

thx nivid!
I don’t think we’ll have a problem then.. but if someone knows the actual drinking age it could be useful. thx!

http://en.wikipedia….

F: 16
I: none (bars/shop 16)
D: 16 (18 spirits)
CZ: 18
SK: none (18 bars/shop)
A: 16 (18 spirits)
NL: none (bars/shop 16 (18 spirits))
B: 16 (18 spirits)

No problem drinking, and it can be in the headlines when you’re checked (except in Scandinavia maybe), unlike the US… I’m 26 and even got checked every time I entered a bar.

I am traveling for 4 days

You may have to take ur passport a lot of place to prove you’re 18 so be careful not to lose it. I remember a few years ago here in the UK when I was 20, I had a photocopy of my passport, a credit card, 3 other debit cards in my name, A gig ticket with my name on and I had a bit of a beard and I still didn’t get let in to a club in London. I would have had to have gone to a lot of effort to get all that lot together, all for the sake of getting into a Sh***y little club.

Clubs don’t merely go by proof of age. If they don’t like how you look, you might not get past that velvet rope.
