My best friend and I are going to rent a car for two weeks, probably out of Munich, and drive to destinations in Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe. We are looking for recommendations/web sites on renting a car and restrictions on driving through destinations in Eastern Europe. Would Munich be the best place to rent an auto? We haven’t decided which city to fly into yet but we will have an open jaw ticket so ideally we would like to pick up the auto in one city and drop off in another. Any other tips on driving through these countries are welcome!
