Easiest to find jobs in Europe
Sun, 10/09/2005 - 19:06
I’ve been to Europe several times now and I’d like to know if it’s at all possible to find a decent job (be able to afford a place to live, and afford the occasional weekend excursion) without a college degree. I do have professional experience in software development, but from what I’ve heard it’s very difficult to obtain that kind of job without a degree. People have told me in the past that its easy to get a job teaching english. I’m hesitant to do that since I’m not well versed in other languages.
Does anyone have any suggestions as far as different kinds of jobs to look for and how one would begin looking for them?
Thanks.

As far as teaching English as a second Language. I’m not sure you can do that without a degree, not necessarily teachers college but I think you need post secondary. My university roomate couldn’t afford teachers college so she hoped on a flight to korea and she teaches there (without knowing a word or mumble of Korean) and she makes a small fortune.
