I will be heading to italy from april 19 – april 30th – Yep, thats easter week. I will be going straight to florence from the airport in Milan that thursday. I want to make sure that I am in Floence on Easter because I heard they have a great street party ( if anyone can clarify exactly what goes on, that’d be great ). Now, on Monday, I will be heading to Cinquee Terra; I assume that in florence during this week most things will be open – being it is such a large city, But, will a lot of places be closed in cinquee terra due to the fact I will be there on a national holiday (mon. or tues. I believe), and it is a smaller region? also, I want to leave cinquee terra either tues or wed and will have another few days to kill in Italy until my flight out of milan on that sunday morning. If anyone has any ideas of some great cities to visit in that area which will allow me to get to milan by saturday, that’d be great. Thanks in advance for you help!
