Hi!

My friend and I are visiting Europe for the first three weeks in August (the shackles of work prevent anything longer than that). We’re trying to plan a rough itinerary at the moment, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

Our "for sures" are visiting her cousin in Birmingham (and perhaps a friend up in Newcastle-upon-tyne) and my cousin near Zurich.

We’d like to see a bit of London & Paris as well as the south of France and Northern Italy (might take too long to get to Rome?).

We’re also debating over a Eurorail pass or a hop-on, hop-off bus tour, time and money-wise.

Three weeks is so short . . . but is this at all doable? Any recommendations?
