EU bans Dirndl!
Sat, 08/06/2005 - 04:02
According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, a new law has been passed that will enforce the proprietors of beergardens to protect their employees exposed to the sun all day. Waitresses must not be allowed to wear low-cut clothing as is typical of Bavarian costumes. Waitresses questioned on this are outraged and fear getting fewer tips. As Eva Frost, a waitress working at Bratwurst Glöckl states: "we get more tips when the men get to see something!". Martha Gröbl, who works at the Viktualienmarkt says that she feels cooler working that way and gets more air. The new law states that whoever works primarily exposed to the sun all day should be enforced to protect themselves against sunburn and not be allowed to expose as much flesh anymore.
Clearly the EU has nothing better to worry about!

Are they serious??!! If so the Barvarians will not listen to the EU.
You think skin cancer isn’t a good thing to worry about?
Common Sense = 15 or 25 Sun Block, and almost anyone can stay in the sun all day!

True Sun. Common sense always rules.
Next they’ll have lifeguards at the beach wearing bodysuits.
