I’m planning a trip on 2010 to europe, I’m from Argentina and I don’t have a clue on how to start planning things up.
Need to know more people from Argentina planning to do the same, and with some luck travel together, at least, for the first few days. Some stops are Sweden and Germany for sure- got some old friends.

Need every advice possible, as I never got farther than south america.

Uh, pardon me, but why would you spend the time and money to go to Europe in order to meet and travel with Argentinians? A little reading in the forums here and reviewing a few “Eurotrips” is a great way to gather background information.

The first step is to decide how long your trip will be. Then, my favorite plan for “starting from scratch” is to pick up one of the big tour books from the travel agent. I use the tour routes and very basic information in the place descriptions as a starting point to pick a few places I want to visit. Then I buy a guidebook ( Let’s Go is my favorite, Lonely Planet a close second) to find out more about the places and get some ideas for specific sights to see and places to stay.

I guess my other basic, get started, piece of advice is to take advantage of the extensive and excellent European rail system. The train is a great way to see Europe.

Oldlady, I might have been wrong writing that i wanted to travel with argentinians… what I want to state correctly now it’s that I’d like to meet an argentinian with some eurotriping experience, that’s all. Although it’s not necessary, it’s just the fact of parting from the same country.
I’ll check Let’s Go and Lonely Planet, thx for the tip
