I will be in Munchen for Oktoberfest again this September. Last year, I basically stayed in Munchen for the entire 9 days. We rented a car and went to Vienna for a day. I have no problem with that, as Munchen is one of may favorite cities in Europe. Anyway; I was wondering what the best deal would be for me if I just wanted to go to Prague for two days and Salzburg for one day. Otherwise, I’ll be in Munchen for about six days. Should I spend whatever the amount may be on an open-end Eurail ticket, or, simply by RT train tickets to Salzburg and Prague during the week. I’ll definately be staying in Munchen on the weekends.
