EWR to LHR

Its that time of the year again. I will need to go back to London. I will get my subsequent trips sorted out in London itself.
I know with all the price increase related to gas, security, profits etc have now made flights quite expensive.
Having said that, I did a search on Orbitz and found the best price at 903.00 USd RT flying next week and returning at the end of August, 2011.
I have not been in the loop with any new carriers, cheap and low cost carriers, any new discounts.
Is this 903/00 the new prices i am looking at all inclusive?
Please advice

Ebookers has it $897 total, Virgin Atlantic, EWR>LHR return. I think I used July 5-Aug. 30.
If you don’t mind Gatwick and Iceland Express, then it’s $712 total those dates. Come back Sep 1 or 2, and I’m seeing $604 total with Iceland Express.

Are they reliable? 602.00 seems very reasonable.
Sept 1 or 2nd is just too long but I might take the chance. That means i miss the entire summer again. This will be the fourth year in a row. Can’t take it any longer.

getting a one way ticket on IE is incredibly cheap to London but getting the RT from London is not feasible and everything is booked.
Is there any other cheaper airline out there that I can book my return back here.
