EWR to LHR and return
Fri, 05/21/2010 - 08:29
Traveller, your price to london less than 500 is amazing,
have you seen anything from New jersey to london, any day from now on?
or alternatively from New York?
I am leaving from US and traveling for 11 days
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
Don, CIL, traveller,
Is there any way to find out a list of all the airlines
servicing London (all airports) preferably Heathrow
from New York Tri=State Area *(all airports) preferably *Newark, NJ?
Should I call Heathrow somehow and get it or there are other means?
Please advice
I cannot seem to get reasonably priced tickets. Just too expensive.
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
For June 2010, the following airlines are listing nonstop fares on NYC (includes EWR and JFK) to LON (includes LHR and LGW):
Some of these are codeshared, but the airlines listed can sell you a nonstop seat between NYC and LON in June.
Picking just a couple of random June midweek dates, Kuwait Air comes up much cheaper than all the rest currently—around $760 round trip, taxes included, although I could not recall how long you need to stay, so guessed 3-4 weeks; longer stay might yield different fare(s).
Momondo.com also sniffed out consolidator ExploreTrip with American around the same price.
STA has a cheaper price—$630s on Virgin—but restricted only to ISIC, GO-25, and ITIC card holders.
I did not check consolidators listed in our new user thread—check them out if you haven’t already.
Don, I am not sure how you are getting a fare.
I have tried a number of combinations on Kuwait,
leaving from May or June and return in July, all returns indicates “Sorry, no flights or fares available for the selected dates”
I am hoping to get the search done by today for all the listed airlines above and
YES, thank you very much

I just tried Momondo.com for you again, this time with June 3-29, and got NYC-LON for $467 round trip, taxes included, on Iceland Express.
ohh let me check,
never used Momondo before,
do you think it is alright to use it?
and your assessment of Iceland express?
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
Don, kindly explain me this:
Doing the search on Momondo, gives me a price if 441 USD through lastminute.com.
Says VISIT which I did.
However at the website lastminute.com, it gives me a 574.00 USD which is still incredibly good.
Why and how does this change to a different price?
Secondly, it is giving me a no frills airline, what does this mean?
Even when i want to see the details, it is not giving me any airlines name except that it flies through Iceland?
perhaps then I should really look for
Air Iceland to pick up some fair priced tkts.
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
It’s Iceland Express. Fares can change from minute to minute until you book. Be sure to clear your internet cache and cookies, then try Momondo again to be sure you get the best available price when you check. Momondo is an airfare meta-search site—like BookingBuddy, Kayak, and Travelgrove. You can try Iceland Express’s site directly, but the Lastminute results that Momondo found could be a special offer they have with that airline—you won’t know until you check for what is actually available from each of those sources.
Iceland Express is low cost meaning you’ll pay extra to check bags (don’t nearly all do that now, anyway?!), get a cup of coffee or snack onboard, etc.
Don, With my kind of uncertainty and complexity, i am getting a fare of 1460.00 RT from
EWR to LHR: Stopover both ways.
LHR to DEL: and RTN
For my son: 1175.00 RTN
What do you think?
Catch is 200 USD penalty for any changes.
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
I didn’t buy my tksts and now there is nothing till the 8th to fly from EWR.
Price I am getting is 1340.00 to London, obnoxious
Is anyone doing a search that can help?
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
Prices are well over 1500.00 now and cannot seem to understand why there is a shortage of tickets?
Has anyone checked for tkts lately?
