i was planning on taking a ferry to greece from italy. My guide books don’t give too much info about the ferries themselves. If anyone can tell me how they are as far as comfort and safety. I also read that it takes a day from your eurorail pass. I don’t know if they mean it takes a day away because it is an overnight trip, or because the use of a ferry is extra and will turn your 15 day eurorail pass into a 14 day pass. Also how do you make reservations? I plan on traveling at the end of January, are the ferries still in use? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
