first time trip 2 europe
Fri, 02/08/2008 - 00:26
hey guys..im planning to go on a 2 month solo backpacking trip across europe in july and august…it’s my first time so i basically want to see the biggest attractions…i’m in the early stages of planning but roughly i know what countries i want to go to:
(in order)
Netherlands (Amsterdam)
France
Spain (worth going to Ibiza??)
Italy via French Riveria
Greece via a ferry from Italy (any tips on which islands to go to??)
then i would go up the adriatic coast (want to go to Dubrovnik)
then probably want to go to Budapest, Poland, Germany (any tips on any of those countries or any countries near that area??)
any tips would be helpful and also any tips on solo traveling and meeting other travelers

Much has been written about Greece and your other destinations.
Ferrying from Italy to Greece is great, and there are plenty of old posts to read.
You might want to do a Search, read a bit, then post an itinerary and we can help you with more suggestions.
