I’m looking to get to Istanbul and Greece for some island hopping and would rather bypass Athens this time.
I will most likely be using Toronto as my airport of departure. I have plenty of time (July-Aug 2002) but can never start the planning and anticipation early enough.
Don, have considered LTU into Germany but haven’t learned the German language enough to navigate well on that website. But like the idea of Germany (as opposed to London)because i’m ending the trip in italy and can just continue north to germany for the return flight home.
That said, if i start in crete i’m going to work my way over to the dodecenese islands and turkey and then have to get to italy from istanbul. if i start in istanbul i’ll just go south and then west thru crete over to italy. sorry if this confuses anyone but any info is much appriciated.
thanks, djr.
ps. have checked out greecetravel.com and was very helpful. emailed david and matt.
