I made a couchette reservation for Florence to Geneva with the intentions of getting to Interlaken (I don’t necessarily want to go to Geneva for a stay). When I did this I did not realize how far Geneva is from Interlaken (app. 800 km?)! I remember when I did night trains in Europe a couple of years ago the train would seem to stop about every hour (as I was trying to get sleep)! Would it be possible to get off in Iselle,IT or Brig,Swiss and then make my way to Interlaken? In effect, 1. are you allowed to get off of a night train in the morning before you get to your original destination and 2. does anyone know at which city I should get off in order to get to Interlaken in the most efficient way? Thanks!
