I am another USA American interested in working abroad after graduation, however I can’t afford to work pub type jobs with student loans coming due back in the States AND I don’t like the limited no. of places that I can go through Bunac.

Anyway, was thinking of taking the US Foreign Services Exam. There are different tracks and the ones that fit me best was either consular or administrative. The next text is in April. Has anyone taken it? Is it hard? Is it a good way to get to work in Europe for a few years?
