I am going to France and Portugal this summer. I have booked flights to and from Paris, and I was hoping to find cheap flights between France and Portugal. In a perfect world, I’d like to fly from the South of France to Porto, Portugal; then return from Faro, Portugal to Paris.

It seems that the usual cheapie European airlines (Ryanair, etc.) do not fly between France & Portugal, so I checked the Air France, TAP, and Air Luxor sites, but all the fares I see are in the many hundreds of euros. Will I find better deals when I’m physically in France? Should I just take the train, or does anyone have any suggestions?
