Is the train the best way to get from Frankfurt to Prague or is there a super cheap ticket out there somewhere??

I have done all the searches I can find on flights and have not found any under US $100 – which is what I have been told the train is.

If I do end up taking the train – should I buy my ticket in advance or can I just get it at the station when I arrive in Frankfurt??
