Hi!
I’ve read from earlier posts that it’s best to plan an overnight trip to see Normandy’s beaches, but could we also fit in a visit to Mont-St-Michel on the same trip? Would this be done best by renting a car, or can we feasibly travel by train or bus? I’ve read that the town of Bayeaux-not sure if I spelled it right-is good to stay for an overnight trip to Normandy. How far away is it from Mont St Michel and the town of Dinan? One more question-we’re planning on visiting around the 6th of June, the anniversary of one of the invasions. Does anyone know if there’s something special done to celebrate the anniversary? Thanks for your help!
