I’m thinking about volunteering in Ghana for a few months, so I’m just interested in hearing about anybodies experiences there.
Thanks

Hey,

Actually my old proff is from there, and he said people are very welcoming and sincere. They really value their visitors so most tourists get a lot of good attention, especially if they are a different race (because then the visitor is more identifiable). So yeah he said of all the northern african places this is one of the calmest, safest and easy going!

I have never been so I can’t say

Alex

I spent a whole month in Ghana in 2007 and it was amazing. We traveled all over the country on what they call tro-tros and it was great. We traveled to different regions with the help of a travel guide and it was absolutely enchanting. I don’t know why more people don’t visit Ghana when they go to Africa.

I am leaving from DC Metropolitan Area
