Mayonnaise and fries — double yuck. Objectively, however, I’m sure it’s no weirder that annihilating some peanuts and spreading the resultant goo on some white, plastic, spongy material we Americans call bread. I don’t know for sure why I miss peanut-butter sandwiches when I’m abroad (it’s true — they REALLY DON’T eat these in Europe!) but I do miss them. I also miss BAGELS — in fact, I think I came home early once just to have one.
What foods from home do you miss? Why can’t we seem to shake these cravings?
