I just got back from Cuba and it was the best experience ever. I have never been to Eastern Europe, so I have nothing to compare it to in that sense, but it is a beautiful country with amazing music and people (the food and service sucks though beware.) It also has an intriguing political history that fills the air. And yes, you can talk politics with the locals. Plus, its my mother land .

If you arent American go before for some reason you cant. And if you are American like me, figure out an excuse to wrestle out a visa. Its completely worth it!
