going to need a lot of help

hi, i have just joined the site,
and am planning on doing 2 6 month trips
the first one to europe
and then the second one to hong kong, new zealand and australia
i am not too worried organising the 2nd trip as i have friends i can stay with,
but really havent got a clue about europe as i have never been there,
any hints and help about plaaning and making ths trip would be helpful

First off, you need to figure out the visa issues for a European visit of longer than 90 days. You’ll find help with that on our “packing” forum and the “sticky” about visa requirements at the top of the “cheap flights” forum.
