Great Italian food in the heart of Munich

I’m not sure of the address but it’s not too hard to find. From Karlstor walk along the pedestrian area, then right onto Eisenmannstrasse (right across from the big fountain), then left onto Brunnstrasse. The restaurant is on the right side of the street, through a nondescript entryway, just before Brunnstrasse takes a sharp turn and becomes Hackenstrasse.

If you’re sick of sausage at every meal this is a nice place to stop for a relaxing lunch while you’re exploring the center of Munich. The food is great, the desserts are great, and the people are friendly. The seating is mostly outside, though there is indoor space, and it’s best to go on a sunny day. Lunch prices are good for a sit-down meal this close to Kaufingerstrasse and dinner is reasonably inexpensive as well.
