I will be in Austria during the second week of January, and was thinking about adding Hallstatt to my itinerary. It seems that a lot of the sights shut down during the winter months. Looks like skiing in the region would be really good, but nobody else in my group has ever skied, and I don’t think they’d be too excited about it…. If you’ve been there in the winter, what are your thoughts?
