Been to Amsterdam a few times, but never had the need to take the street trams. The Herr is just curious, how exactly does that work? Must one buy some kinda pass/ticket prior to getting on the tram or does one just hop aboard and insert coins like you do on a bus for the ticket? If so, how many guilders, etc. The Herr would like to figure this out before he gets there. Danke!!!
