In 10 days I’m heading for Berlin again (5th time), and I can’t wait! However, I know that the city underwent massive renovations and the like in the last two years (since I was last there). Therefore I’d like to know whether Berlin is now just another big and polished European capital, or has it preserved its spirit nevertheless? Personally, what I loved most about it was the life and the (mostly alternative) culture budding in the streets and buildings (even if these were ruined). So tell me – will I still find it? Thanks for any input!
