Hash Brownies
Sun, 01/14/2007 - 22:40
Sorry if this isn’t comfortable for some people or okay to post but I just had to ask. I plan on going to Amsterdam and if I get there I would consider trying some hash brownies. It is legal there and is just another one of those things that you can say you have tried.
Has anybody tried them or know somebody who has? If so, can you tell me what it is like, if it is too dangerous, or if it’s even worth it?
Thanks.
Hi
My friend and I bought some hash brownies in Amsterdam adn they did absoulutly nothing! Sorry I can’t remember the place they were from (I could show you but can’t remember the name). I was pretty broke but she bought some yummy looking “special” space cupcakes which definately worked for her. I never felt unsafe using them. The stadard rules apply: don’t buy from people on the street only coffe shops and trust you gut feeling. If something looks sketchy it probably is! It is worth it if you want to get high but you might get ripped off. I think they were between 6 and 10 euros each so see if it fits into your budget.
Have fun!!

mustangt, I tend to agree with eurkd, spacecakes, although sedative and laxative have never done that much for me either, actually just another pastry to have with the morning’s coffee. I used to like the Baba’s vanilla version, and there is also the Chocolata down on Spuistraat that specialises in confectionary, but I believe their quality has declined in recent years. Honestly, Nederwiet is some of the world’s best, easily competing with northern California, Vancouver, Mexico and Hawaii and I rather prefer my dope straight. Two personal preferences are the Grey Area (one of the proprietors is from my home town and so I “ve always been made to feel especially comfortable there), moreso, some of their proprietary brands are known for their extremely high THC content ranking with the Dampkring’s, another estimable establishment’s higher end specialities. But it is very much a matter of taste and style, and surely you’ll easly discover a coffeeshop to your liking, and liberated from wholly unnecessary criminal association marijuana is a pleasant, occasionally enlightening experience – as it should be, just an ordinary, everyday thing.
