hello,

i’m going to croatia, slovenia, slovakia, hungary, and poland for a month. my plan is to start in croatia and work my way north. i’m hoping to be ‘spontaneous’ on this trip, so the only hostel i’ve reserved is one in zagreb for two nights when i first arrive. i am not planning on following an itinerary; rather, i want to just see where my feet take me. still, this is kind of worrisome because i know that finding hostels during high season may be problematic in these countries. does anyone have experience with this, or is anyone over there right now who could give me some tips? i will be travelling with a lonely planet eastern europe guidebook which has some hostel recommendations.
