Hey all,
I need your help. I am the developer here at Eurotrip and a few people have contacted me in the past week with problems with the Trip Planner.

I have heard about the following bugs:

  • The trip planner is not loading. It goes the to ‘Loading’ page, but does not get past it.
  • ‘Potentially Invalid’ railpass results.

If you have had either of these bugs, can you please give me the following information:

  • What browser are you using?
  • If you try with Firefox does the problem still exist?
  • If you clear you browser cookies does that fix the problem?
  • Is your trip Published or Unpublished?
  • How long ago did the planner stop working for you?
  • Can you remember what the last thing you did in the planner was before it stopped working?
  • If you get an error of any kind, can you please tell me the text of the error (you may have to Debug to get the error text)?
    Any other information you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the inconvenience. With you help I should be able to get to the bottom of this soon.

I may have fixed the “The trip planner is not loading. It goes the to ‘Loading’ page, but does not get past it.” error. If you were having that problem, can you please do a ‘Shift + Reload’ in your browser and try again and report if you still have the issue.

I think I have fixed both of these issues for now. If there is a problem, now it should give an error and you should be able to make the appropriate changes.

If you get the error “The request failed do to some technical reason”, please let me know and send me the link to your trip so I can resolve the issue. This is a problem that is caused by an API that we use and it has a couple unresolved issues.
