I have the WORST time getting to sleep at home, let alone in hostels with other people snoring, coughing, and rustling around. I’ve spent 2 nights in a hostel before and I think I got a grand total of 2 hours of sleep. Trust me, its not from a lack of trying. I’ll go to bed nice and early with the intention of being well rested for the next big day… problem is, I’ll just lie there staring at the ceiling and won’t be able to sleep. Then I’ll start thinking about trying to sleep and at that point I’m doomed for another 3 hours of sleeplessness.
Ok. I was wondering if anyone else suffers from this pain in the ass and what you do to get some sleep! I’ve never tried sleeping pills because I’ve heard they can become addictive. Are they the answer? Earplugs would help things a little, but aren’t the solution.
Thanks for any help!
