Ok, so I just had a break at work and was checking flight prices at skyscanner.net for some good deals between Toronto and Madrid…

Lufthansa, NONSTOP, 1114.83 bucks all taxes included, from July 26th to August 11th. Price is in Canadian dollars.

Should I book now? Or should I wait?

I need somebody to give me a kick and tell me to buy or not to buy!

Thank you,

Musings28

Where else have you checked? Did you try Air Transat? Are you a student and/or under 26? Be sure to check the links and strategies in our new user thread pinned @ top of this forum.

1115 does not make me stop and say “book it now!”

Air transat:
1131 bucks

Skyscanner has the cheapest nonstop flight so far from YYZ (Toronto) to Madrid…

Argh, so hard to know if I should book now or wait…suggestions? I am a member of airfarewatchdog and travelocity fare alerts, and so far…nothing. Been registered with them for about a month, and so far the lowest deal has been 1115 bucks…maybe I will wait a few more weeks, and keep checking…?
If only one could predict airefare prices ahead of time!
H.

Is there a way to sign up for travel alerts with skyscanner.net?

Since you are a teacher, check the “student” sites in our new user thread pinned @ top of this forum. A couple only require .edu email address (which as an alum, I get through my alumni association, even though I haven’t taught in a number of years). The other 2 — IIRC — sell “ITIC” -discounted tickets (Intl. Teacher Identity Card). They’re not always as good as the student discounts, but worth checking. And sometimes consolidators are cheaper than them all. But you’ve already checked all of those, right?
