above is our trip

We are training everywhere but from munich to rome being that we got a dirt cheap flight. I am confused because our select pass is telling us to chose austria as one of the countries, but we are going to hungary. Is this because we are traveling completely through austria and will just pay for the portion from the austrian border to budapest?

It’s partially because you cross a pretty large chunk of Austria, but it’s largely because train tickets in Austria are significantly more expensive than train tickets in Hungary.
