Help! Switzerland to Provence during the Greve!
Tue, 04/20/2010 - 16:47
Hello,
I don’t know if anyone can help me but I am currently in Switzerland and need to get home to Provence. There are no trains from Geneva into France as far as I can see, and if there is one or two then there are no trains from Lyon towards Marseille in any case. The strike is worst in the South East of France And I can’t seem to find any proper information on replacement coaches or buses..
I don’t know what to do, does anyone have any ideas of how I can get home?? I think there are still problems with flights because of the ash as well. Arrgh!!
Thanks so much.

UPI has reported that the union leadership has said they will suspend the strike soon. In the mean-time SNCF suggests updates to your mobile phone or checking their site. This appears to be the appropriate page. http://sncftraficnui…
Also, www.eurolines.com might help will bus information….
Thank you oldlady, that eurolines web address was great. I really do hope that the Union Leadership finally tell them to stop carrying on like this, it’s crazy!
