hiking vaccinations?

Hello,
is it necessary to get rabies and tick borne encephalitis vaccinations for a week long hiking trip in Bulgaria? They are soooo expensive!

Well it’s not more prevalent in Bulgaria than elsewhere in Europe, but for a week-long hiking trip, it’d probably be a good idea to at least get that TBE vaccination. I say go for it, got nothin to lose.
