hitch-hiking
Fri, 05/25/2007 - 02:56
do you suppose it would be possible to hitch-hike from vienna to paris and how long would you guess it would take (obviously no one can know this for certain, but probably have a better idea than i do). i don’t honestly know if i could ever bring myself to hitch hike—i imagine i’d feel very awkward standing on the side of the road with my thumb out wondering if people were laughing at me as they drove past the way we used to always laugh at hitch hikers
(horrible, i know)—BUT i’d like to keep it as an idea. it’s really the only place out of austria i want to go to (mainly because i want to go to pere lachaise!), and thus i can’t really be bothered with getting a rail pass, yet the individual fare between paris and vienna is so expensive sigh

Why not fly SkyEurope Airlines, Air Berlin or FlyNiki?
That’s a very good idea (now that i looked at their sites). i had no idea flights within europe could be so ridiculously cheap! thanks for the suggestion, that opens up a bunch of options. yay, no hitch-hiking!
