Hopefully I have improved site performance

Hey All,
Oldlady and a couple other people have pointed out that the site seems to slow down when adding/deleting/updating posts. Also, it was noted that the more moderators that are online cause the site to slow down as well.
I have made some changes that I hope will speed up those aspects of the site. It may take about an hour or so for everything to smooth out, but hopefully it will help.

Some things are still extremely slow for me — particularly going to the main forum page (index). It’s faster (though still a little slow) to use the pull downs on the forum tab than to click on “forum” — either the tab or the words. There aren’t pull downs for all the forums and you can’t tell what’s new from the pull downs. If I happen to click on the forum tab instead of one of the pull downs under it after logging in, it seems to take forever.
I’m the only user online now and it just took 10 seconds for my post to appear after hitting the submit button.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.
