Hotel Hirsch?
Mon, 04/10/2006 - 14:56
Hello,
I figured this would be a good place to ask this. Since all the Munich experts seem to reside here. I was just wondering if any of you have heard of a Hotel Hirsch in Munich? I am accompanying some students on a Europe trip and we’re supposed to be staying at this hotel. Never heard of it and can’t seem to find it.
So, any help, or information would be greatly appreciated!
Danke!
Greg
That one does not ring a bell. What street is it located on? I am guessing it used to be called something else, and has been renovated/re-opened, etc.. MK

Thanks! Turns out that Hotel Hirsch is actually in Fussen. We are now staying at Hotel Lammle. It is located in the western part of Munich-Friedenheim. Never heard of it myself and can’t seem to find it online.
If anyone has heard of this one, I’d appreciate any insight. Of course, it doesn’t really matter much at this point.
Thanks again!
Greg
Fussen is a quick, inexpensive train ride from the Hauptbahnhof, and/or Munchen City Centre. Good choice. Just make sure and check the train times before you go on:
www.db.de/
They run very early in the morning, but you have to make certain you do not miss the last train back to Fussen. If I recall correctly, the last train might be at 0100 from the Thereseinweise (O-Fest grounds) stop, or another stop a few blocks from that location.
