I have two early morning flights booked (Air France). One leaves Paris at 7:15 a.m.; the return leaves Lisbon at 7:40 a.m. I merrily booked the fights and then suddenly realized that public transport to the airport in Paris, at least, doesn’t seem to start until 5:45am, and I have to be at the airport 2 hours in advance of the flight. I could kick myself.
Lonely Planet says the taxi to Charles De Gaulle ranges from 35 to 50 Euros (ouch!) and doesn’t have a lot of specifics for Lisbon.
Does anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions on places to stay to make the trip to the airport easier/cheaper? Am I up a creek?
