Okay, I’ve followed all the advice and have carefully made copies of all my important stuff….passport, plane tickets, rail pass, CC’s and ATM’s…..made three copies actually, two to leave here with family and one to take with as advised. Now for the stupid question….
Where am I to keep these? Initially thought.."important stuff" so it goes into the money belt. But wait! If I lose my important stuff in my money belt….well, that’s where the backup copies are too. And I can’t imagine it is a good idea to leave even copies in my backpack. Seems it would be easy enough for someone to use the ‘copies’ to get everything replaced to them.
Do I need yet another ‘money belt’ of the neck pouch type thing? How have you all handled this? Leave all copies at home and just send for them if needed?
Help…I’m stumped!
