hey, i think it is funny no one has posted yet to your thread, but from what i have been told, ibiza is off the chain!!! all the major european djs go there during the summer, and the clubs are supposed to be out of this world, I have a fair amount of compiled music recorded in clubs there and most of it is quality, ie, paul van dyk, seb fontain, sasha, all the big names, and I am sure some talented people who don’t have pop star status. i would like to go to ibiza this summer and am looking for a group to go with, i live in naples italy. i pretty much want to go to see pvd, when are you thinking of going? i have heard stay well away in august because it is flooded with italians, i think if I left naples, and had to hang out with italians, i might have an anurism………. i saw some great websites, but you can check on google.com and i am sure there is tons of stuff there… where in canada are you from? i dig bc, it was tight. lates

Thanks for your reply!! My friends and I have hear that it is out of this world too! Sounds like a great time! We are thinking of going in July…from about the 3rd-6th. We are going there from Scotland so we are trying to find the cheapest way to do that. You are welcome to join us…we are always looking for people who want to party as much as us! We are going to Scotland to dance in some competitions. We are going to Scotland on the 1st of July and then we are leaving London for Canada on the 14th of July. We are trying to go to Ibiza in between a couple of the competitions, so we don’t have many options. No, I’m not familiar with his work.

Except London & Edinburgh, Ibiza is really good spotlight, but you really need a lot of cash (if you want to party). You can go to few other European Cities for the amount of money that you’re going to spend on Ibiza.

iggy, what do you consider a lot of cash? i haven’t made any hotel arrangements yet and feel like i will take the "bonus plan" on that one if i go this summer. what are club entry costs? it couldn’t be worse than tokyo..

We will be in Ibiza on July 14th thru 18th. We got a cool group of guys going. Can’t wait!! So what is the scene like? I heard its a very diverse crowd, between hippies, alternative,freaks, Yuppies, beatiful peoples etc…. Is there anything I should know before hand?….

Well i have never been, but will be stoping by it in 2006 when i backpack europe. Here in Los Angeles, I know some people that have gone and they all said Cafe Del Mar is awsome (aswell as they normally have a summer cd compilation of the trance and house anthems that were played there and made famous there for the year). Another one is Amnisa, I have heard great things about that one, from them having tight rope walkin elvis impersinators, to fire dancers, to go go girls ….. Another dj you should check out is Judge Jules, He has done allot of work in ibiza and I have some of his sets and cds from there if you intrested in hearing his stuff. I’ve been a couple times. My favorite is the foam party in Amnesia. Its only on wednesdays and sundays. Don’t expect the foam to come down all night. It only goes for an hour from 6am to 7am. But its definately worth experienceing at least once. During sunset, check out Cafe Del Mar. Its not a club, more like a restaurant but the sunsets are awesome and they play good music. I’ve been to Privelege but I think its over rated, and it gets really hot in there! There are some good beaches but none of them are really great. Hawaii and even San Diego California has better beaches in my opinion. Benirras beach has a really nice sunset too. Also, though I havn;t been people say good things about Space. Its supposed to be an after hour club and the party ends up on the beach called Bora Bora. Let me know how that is if anyone ends up going. One more thing, things to do during the day are pretty dismal. Its gets boring actually to find things to do during the day. I suggest you party til really late (or early) like 6 or 7am and then sleep all day. Repeat over and over. Have a good time guys.

the night life in ibiza is insanely crazy. it could be a lot of fun if you’re doing a lot of drugs and drinking all the time – and OH you must absolutely love techno music.
the beaches are ok-

or if you like a big club scene, you dont have to just drink and do drugs.
